Selena Gomez Releases “Only You” Lyric Video From ’13 Reasons Why’

In case you haven’t heard there is this show on Netflix that is having a huge impact right now. It is called ‘13 Reasons Why‘ and a lot of people love it, there are also a lot of people that don’t like it.

I won’t get into arguing I will simply say that I think it is an important show for everyone to watch. The things that you say and you matter, it can hurt people in ways you can’t even imagine. If you are watching this show and thing that it is simply making suicide romantic or if she is blaming all of her issues on other people, watch it again.

Truthfully I have so many thoughts about this show and maybe one day I will write them down for you all to read.

Okay, back to the topic of Selena Gomez and her song “Only You” which is featured on the ’13 Reasons Why’ soundtrack.

Selena is an executive producer on the project and spoke about how much it means to her.

Yesterday she released the lyric video for her song “Only You” which is featured on the project.

Check it out and let it break your heart all over again.

Lady Gaga Performed New Song “The Cure” At Coachella!

Last night Lady Gaga performed at Coachella in place of Beyonce performing. As most people know Beyonce is pregnant with twins and wasn’t able to perform so Gaga stepped up big time!

Well, she surprised the crowd with a new song, “The Cure” and I love it.

It’s the perfect summer bop!

This song has a very early 2000’s vibe to it and I will never complain about that kind of vibe.

Let’s play that this song gets the radio plays that it deserves!

On another note, Gaga reportedly absolutely slayed her entire set.

Get it girl!

Happy 24th Birthday Chance The Rapper!

Sometimes I feel old, I mean I am not that old, I am only 26 but when I see that people younger than me have won Grammys and are changing the world.

Seeing that Chance the Rapper is only 24 years old is absolutely mind blowing. This artist is absolutely wise beyond his years. Obviously he is an insanely talented rapper. He has already won a Grammy and I am guessing that he will win more during his career.

Chance also has raised money for public schools of Chicago and he continues to grow as an artist and philanthropist.

Happy birthday Chance, I can’t wait to see what else is in store for you and your career!

Mack Wilds Drops New LP “AfterHours”

Mack Wilds is coming in hot with this new project that he has put together. It is absolutely incredible if you ask me.

In case Mack looks familiar it’s because he was on the ‘90210’ reboot a few years back, and he was also in Adele’s “Hello” music video.

There is so much more to him than that though. On this latest LP he proves that he can sing perfect melodies, but he can also rap. This artist is so versatile it’s only a matter of time until he takes over airwaves everywhere.

He also has features from Wale, Cam Wallace, and Tink on the project.

So listen to it below and be prepared to become obsessed with it!

Ten Songs To Prove That We Need To Appreciate O-Town !

Before One Direction were put together on a reality television show, there was O-Town. The band was put together by Lou Pearlman, the guy who found Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC , no big deal or anything.

Anyway, Lou put together the show ‘Making The Band’, where he found five good looking guys who looked the part, could dance, and could sing in perfect harmony.

It was there that the band O-Town was put together.

I feel like over the years people only really focus on Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC when it comes to the 90’s and early 2000’s. Yes, they were definitely the two dominant ones but I think that both 98 Degrees and O-Town have been looked over.

Now, I have already talked about why 98 degrees should have been more appreciated, but now it is time to appreciate O-Town. Clearly I am passionate about my boy bands, judge away, but you know you love them too!

O-Town has made a big comeback too, Ashley Parker Angel decided not to join them but they are still selling out all of their shows.

For the record, my reasons are songs because I genuinely believe that their vocals should be more appreciated!

10. Sexiest Woman Alive

9. Baby I Would

8. Lines and Circles

7. Chasin’ After You

6. We Fit Together

5. Every Six Seconds

4. Skydive

3. These Are The Days

2. Liquid Dreams

1.All of Nothing

So there you have it, there are ten songs why we should appreciate O-Town more. They deserve more recognition!

They made their mark on the boy band world, put some respect on their name.

Music Monday : “Wild And Crazy” – Alec MacGillivray

Country boys, am I right? I mean there is just something about a guy who has that country twang to his voice, have him play guitar, and sing, it’s a great combination. Can we all agree with that? Well, probably not since people either really love country or hate it.

I absolutely love it though, and when you find a great singer you have to tell all of your friends, right?

After doing a bit of research through Facebook I stumbled upon Alec MacGillivray, an up and coming country artist from the Boston area. He was born in Tennessee but he moved up north so he is a country boy with Boston swagger. Those are his words, not mine.

He has already opened for artists like Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, and Frankie Ballard. This summer he will even be joining Sam Hunt for a few tour dates this summer!

Alec already has some serious buzz about his music and I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of him in the future.

Be sure to check out his website, YouTube page, Facebook page, and listen to his music on Spotify or Itunes.

You can say that you listened to him way back when!

Music Monday : “Sunshine” – The Elovaters

Image may contain: one or more people, people standing, ocean, beach, outdoor, water and nature

There’s nothing like starting off a Monday with some incredible music, am I right? Today I was scrolling through Facebook and a band called The Elovaters (formerly known as The Cornerstone) popped up and after hearing their song “Sunshine”, I became absolutely obsessed.

The band is from the Boston area, according to their Facebook page  they were influenced by Sublime and Bob Marley, which you can definitely hear through their music.

The Elovaters are Reggae/Rock/Funk band hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. The band is fronted by lead singer/songwriter/rhythm guitarist Jackson Wetherbee who has toured internationally. The Elovaters also feature musicians formerly of New England Music Award winning bands; The Aldous Collins Band and Last Call. The sound is similar to that of UB40, The Police, Sublime and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their show is fun, energetic and has festive crowds dancing, grooving, and singing along. They have supporting headliners such as Kool and The Gang, Akon, Ballyhoo, Stick Figure, Collie Buddz, Trombone Shorty, The Movement, New Kingston, and Galactic.

So I would suggest that you check them out while they are on tour now because eventually these guys will be filling up concert venues across the country. There is no doubt in my mind about that.

You can find all of their tour dates here! Check out their YouTube , Instagram, and Twitter as well so you never miss a new song from The Elovaters!

Real question though, is it possible to be in a bad mood when you listen to reggae music?

I think that right now we could all use more music like this!

Watch Vanessa Hudgens & Ashley Tisdale Cover “Ex’s & Oh’s”

Okay so far I am a big fan of 2017, well at least in the celebrity gossip world. Ashley and Vanessa teaming up again? I don’t it hate it one bit. These are the things I live for. Nostalgia is really all I have and even though I never really got into “High School Musical” I can still appreciate it for what it was.

For the past few months Ashley has been putting on covers every Tuesday and this week she brought a very special guest, Vanessa Hudgens, to perform the smash “Ex’s & Oh’s” originally performed by Elle King.

These two ladies smashed it too. Sometimes I forget how insanely talented Vanessa and Ashley are, they can sing, dance, and act. I can’t do any of those things.

Ashley, I just want to personally take a second to thank you for “He Said, She Said”, still the best pregame song out there.
